Two new Scuba diving training programs are now being offered by The Dive Shop in Newmarket, Ontario. "SCUBA RANGERS" is a new underwater training program for children between eight (8) and twelve (12) years old. The modular weekend program teaches children the full use of scuba diving gear by specially trained instructors, in the safe environment of a swimming pool.

For adult full open water scuba certification, a new program –SSI- (Scuba School International) is now offered by The Dive Shop. This new certification course uses a "hands-on" practical approach to scuba diving, granting an open water license after two (2) weekends of training.

The announcement was made by Mr. James Rogers, President of The Dive Shop.

"The children’s Scuba Rangers program was an outstanding success!" said Mr. Rogers. "We are the first and only Scuba training facility in Western Ontario offering such a program. We are equally proud to be able to offer SSI as a choice of scuba training programs to our adult and junior divers. Today’s customers demand excellence as well as choice.
